New Catalunya and Euskadi shirts (03/12/2020)
Catalunya (Catalonia) and Euskadi (Basque Country) are two of the regions of Spain with strong national identities, including having their own language.
Catalunya national team consists mainly of Barcelona and Espanyol players and their shirts usually feature red and yellow stripes inspired by their national flag.
Their regular fixture normally falls on one day during Christmas holidays when the Liga takes a festive break of two weeks. This season they will be playing Nigeria on 2nd January 2013 at Espanyol's ground at Cornellà, on the outskirts of Barcelona. This will be Johan Cruyff’s last game in charge of the Catalans and promises to be an exciting fixture.
Euskadi team on the other hand is mostly made up of players from Athletic Bilbao, Real Sociedad and Osasuna, although some French Basques have also played for them in the past.
They will play Bolivia in the Anoeta stadium in San Sebastian on 29th December
